DR. GLENN S. PRESCOD 

Dr. Prescod obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees from Brown University. He completed the first two years of medical school at Dartmouth Medical School as part of the Brown/Dartmouth Medical Program. He also obtained a Masters degree in Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health.  

Dr. Prescod served an internal medicine internship at Miriam Hospital/ Brown University. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Interfaith Medical Center in New York and went on to continue his training in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, a fellowship program that is regarded as one of the most challenging and competitive in the country.

Dr. Prescod has been in private practice in Rhode Island since 1994. As Clinical Assistant Professor at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Dr. Prescod is actively involved in teaching residents and medical students. He currently serves as Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at Kent Hospital, a position he has held for many years. 

 Dr. Prescod is board certified in Ophthalmology. He is an active fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists.
